State Representative W. Curtis Thomas will be hosting at the School District of Philadelphia, 440 North Broad Street, Phila PA 19130 at 11:00 am on Thursday April 21st. State Rep. Thomas will be offering an alternative budget plan this Thursday that restores a good deal of k-12 and higher education funding. He is extending an open invitation to EPLC's education partners to attend his press conference. Any CJFN Network member interested in attending this event, can go. Just let them know you are a CJFN Network member.
For anyone who cannot make it down to Philly, Rep. Thomas will be hosting a press conference next week at theMedia Center in Harrisburg at 10:00 am on Wednesday April 27th.
